These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Starfleet Rentals website and talent trailer rental services. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.
Services
Starfleet Rentals provides production-ready talent trailer rentals with delivery, setup, and support for film, commercial, sports, and event productions in the Kansas City region. Our services include trailer delivery, generator support, utility planning, and optional onsite attendant services.
Reservations and Availability
- All reservations are subject to availability and approval by Starfleet Rentals
- Submitting a reservation request does not guarantee a booking until confirmed by our team
- Production holds may be placed to reserve dates with a 24-hour right of first refusal
- We reserve the right to decline any reservation request
Pricing and Payment
- Rental rates are quoted per day, week, or month as applicable
- All rates include delivery, setup, generator, and teardown within our standard service area
- Additional fees may apply for extended service areas, moves, or overtime attendant hours
- A security deposit may be required and is refundable upon satisfactory return
- Payment terms are established at the time of booking confirmation
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be communicated in writing (email or text). Cancellation terms are established at the time of booking and may include fees depending on the notice period provided.
Renter Responsibilities
- Provide accurate production details, location information, and scheduling requirements
- Ensure the delivery location is accessible for trailer positioning
- Use the trailer in a reasonable manner consistent with its intended purpose
- Report any damage or issues immediately to Starfleet Rentals
- The renter is responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear
SMS Communications
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive transactional text messages including booking confirmations, reservation updates, delivery notifications, and customer service replies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe
- Help: Reply HELP for assistance or contact hello@starfleetrentals.com
- Frequency: Message frequency varies based on rental activity
- Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages
Limitation of Liability
Starfleet Rentals is not liable for production delays, lost revenue, or indirect damages arising from equipment issues, weather events, or circumstances beyond our control. Our total liability is limited to the rental fees paid for the affected reservation.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Jackson County, Missouri.
